Empowering Students
The school counseling department strives to empower all students at H.G. Hill Middle in the domains of academic achievement, career and college readiness, and social/emotional development. Through an inclusive, comprehensive school counseling model, the counseling department equips students with the tools, attitudes and mindsets to reach their potential, dream big, and become advocates, life-long learners and respectful, responsible, resourceful citizens.
Middle school can be a very challenging time in adolescent development, but we are dedicated to helping our H.G. Hill students develop the skills to become their best selves. The school social worker provides referrals to services of all types in support, whether students and families are facing homelessness, in need of therapy or medical assistance or require food pantry support.
